JJ Lusby, Lexi Price, Story Moss, Bianca Jones, and Wren Burton all participated in the ESU JH Music Festival this morning. All 5 students received a 1 rating on their solos! Great job everyone!

The 4x400 relay of Wyatt Griffin, Luke Budke, Brock Griffin and Tag Groh qualified for the Sunflower Showdown as part of the KU Relays based on their time today. They will run tomorrow.

The CCHS Music Department attended Regional Music at Tabor College today. The results are as follows: 1- Connor Jahnke, Lynnae Rains, Valeria Soria, Kailyn Budke 2- Natalie Neff, Sadie Mushrush, Drewe Morgan, Karmen Lindenman, Ellie Clements, Dana Maddox 3- Grant Myers, Kayleigh Trimmer We will be returning to Tabor for State Music on April 27th. Great job everyone!

The Chase County Golf Team took 2nd at the home meet. All 7 players set personal best scores for either 9 or 18 holes, even in extreme conditions with sustained 25mph winds. Daysha Schickel placed 5th in poetry at the Osage City forensics meet today. She also placed 7th (unofficial) in prose. Congratulations!!

The baseball team lost to Council Grove, 1-11, in game 2.

Softball girls win game 2, 11-6, over Council Grove.

Sports update: Baseball lost the first game to Council Grove, 4-5. Softball lost 0-5 to Council Grove. I have heard several Chase County names announced as placing in field events at the Marion track meet. Running events are underway, and I know we have placed in some already. I just haven't kept track of the specifics! Sorry. As always, it is a great day to be a Bulldog!!!
